In 2004 Roger and Cecilia opened Seringa Lodge. Together they have created a homely guest house with quality accommodation and fine food.

Seringa Lodge is renowned for its relaxed atmosphere, gourmet kitchen and superb guided tours.
Guests have ample space to enjoy the hospitality of Roger, Cecilia and their staff.

The lodge operates on a Bed and Breakfast basis, with most guests also additionally opting to enjoy eating Cecilia’s gourmet dinners. Dinners are a three course menu incorporating both local and international dishes. Garden fresh vegetables and fruit are used as far as possible. The meals can be enjoyed either in the tastefully decorated dining area, the beautiful garden or in the traditional African Boma. Dinners must please be pre-booked and unfortunately we do not serve dinners on Sundays.

Cecilia, born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, perfected her culinary skills at a highly acclaimed culinary institute in America. Her profession has taken her to restaurants and luxury lodges in the U.S., Europe and Southern Africa.

South African born Roger, is a highly qualified guide with many years of experience, tremendous knowledge and a passion for the bush and its animals. Roger has worked as a safari guide and managed luxury camps in the Okavango Delta, Botswana, which is well known for its abundant wildlife, as well as in South Africa.
