Seringa
Lodge guests use the lodge as a home base to explore many of the
attractions of the beautiful Lowveld.
The lodge is only half an hour drive from Kruger National Park.
The Kruger Park lies between the towering escarpment of the northern
Drakensberg and the Mozambique coastal plains. It is one of Africa's
premier game reserves, consisting of almost 20.000 square kilometres,
an area bigger than Israel. We offer private guided safaris into
the Kruger National Park in an open game viewer vehicle as well
as bush walks in a nearby private game reserve.
Seringa Lodge is also only a short distance from all the scenic
routes available. Which include Pilgrim's Rest, Blyde River Canyon,
Bourke's Potholes, God's Window, Sudwala Caves just to mention
a few.
Birding, Fishing, Hiking, Horse Trails, Quad-Biking, River Rafting,
Arial Cable trails, shopping and a Casino are all situated within
a few kilometres from the lodge.
Don't miss the opportunity to catch up on some
golf while visiting Seringa Lodge.
There are five 18-hole golf courses within an hour drive and eight
9-hole courses with in the same distance.
Kruger Park Safari:
Seringa Lodge offers day tours into the world famous Kruger National
Park.
These game drives are led by an experienced guide and are conducted
on an open game viewer. These vehicles are designed to enhance
your game viewing and photographic experience. The elevated seats
will give a distinct advantage for spotting wild life.
We offer half and full day trips and availability and pricing
are available on request.

Bush Walks:
Seringa Lodge is unique in that Roger Briggs is one of the few
safari guides qualified to lead walking safaris in the Sabi Sands
which is famous for the “Big Five”. Roger has more
than 15 years experience walking in Big Five areas in Botswana,
Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Bushwalks are 3 hours long and contain detailed
and interesting information about birds, trees, spoor medicinal
plants and superstitions.
Roger also caters for special interests and activities
that can be tailor-made to suit your individual needs.
Bird watching:
Our large indigenous garden serves as a great attraction to the
birds in the area.
Seringa Lodge’s bird list contains over a hundred species
including the rare and sought after bat hawks, nesting a mere
300 meters from the lodge.
Owner Roger Briggs, an avid birder himself, will happily walk
you through the property introducing you to some of our local
residents.
